Haseeb dons his festive trainers for the Beacon Appeal

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT)’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion lead, Haseeb Ahmad, who is totally blind, will be running the Nottingham Christmas Marathon this weekend, raising money for sports equipment to enhance the care provided for our youngest mental health inpatients as part of LPT’s #BeaconAppeal.

Diana 20th Anniversary Appeal is Charity of the Year at the Leicestershire and Rutland Construction Dinner

Our Diana Community Children’s Service 20th Anniversary appeal, which is raising funds for resources and equipment that will enhance the care provided to poorly local children in the community, featured as the charity of the year at the Leicestershire and Rutland Construction Dinner on 3 October.

Ashby breastfeeding peer supporter, Claire Robinson, was delighted to accept a cheque from the Leicestershire and Rutland Masonic Charity Association on behalf of local breastfeeding group Magic Milk at a presentation event on 22 June.

Charnwood BRAS race to raise money!

The Charnwood BRAS recently took part in the Clumber Park Fun Run and 10K to raise funds towards their highly thought of breastfeeding support service.

Some of the peer supporters from the UNICEF Baby Friendly accredited service along with local parents, children, family and friends raced in either a 2K fun run or the 10K race. Some of the youngest racers benefited from the services of the BRAS as babies themselves!
