This Christmas, as the charity to LPT, we continue to bring warmth and joy to those who spend the festive season on our wards away from their homes and loved ones.
We have received generous support this year from local businesses and the community enabling us to provide 600 thoughtfully prepared gifts to every inpatient who is staying on our wards on Christmas day. From luxurious toiletry sets donated by Giving World to cozy blankets, toys, and wrapping paper provided by Dunelm, each gift is a symbol of compassion from our supportive community.
Amazon’s distribution centres in Hinkley and Rugby also lent their support by donating gifts-in-kind and sending volunteers to assist with wrapping presents, ensuring each one was beautifully prepared. Financial contributions from Tilbury Douglas, Fusion Electrics, Thomas Cassie & Sons, and many other kind-hearted individuals helped make this initiative possible.
For many patients, these acts of generosity represent much more than a wrapped gift—they are a reminder of connection, kindness, and hope during what might otherwise be a lonely time.
Magdalena Korytkowska, Raising Health Fundraising Manager, added: “This story of compassion and kindness is one we will all remember. The project would not have been possible without the incredible generosity of our supporters. Thank you so much to everyone who helped bring this initiative together.”
As we look ahead to future Christmases, we invite you to help ensure no one feels forgotten during the holiday season. Donations to the charity directly support ongoing efforts to spread joy.
