Last week we joined our colleagues for a very special celebration. The Long Service Awards are an annual celebration, honouring the remarkable dedication and commitment of our NHS staff and volunteers. This event allows LPT to recognise those who have reached significant service anniversaries, reflecting their unwavering commitment to healthcare and the wellbeing of our community.
Angela Hillery, the CEO of LPT, alongside other Executive Team members welcomed to the stage staff members who have completed twenty-five, thirty, or even over forty years of continuous or aggregated service, alongside our exceptional volunteers who have given five, ten, or fifteen years of voluntary service to LPT.
In total, 126 staff and volunteers joined us for the ceremony, representing an impressive 3,305 years of collective service between 2023 and 2024 alone. Across the Trust, we have 344 colleagues who are marking significant milestones this year, contributing an incredible 9,635 years of service to the NHS.
Recognising their dedication is a huge priority for us at Raising Health and our support comes in the form of working alongside our business partners in the form of the sponsorship opportunities.
We are very grateful to Myles Wellbeing and Capsticks LLP for making this celebration possible. Your contribution helped ensure these moments of appreciation were truly special. Once again, thank you for your invaluable support.
Marcus Axelson, Head of Commercial Partnerships at Myles Wellbeing said: “It’s not often we’re able to demonstrate our appreciation for the amazing work people do in the NHS, so when the opportunity to sponsor the Long Service Awards came up, we couldn’t have been happier to support it.
Hearing the stories of people that have dedicated decades to helping others was truly inspiring. Congratulations and thank you for all that you do.”
We are so excited with the ongoing partnership built with the businesses. If you are interested to find out how to get involved please reach out!
