Stepping up to Sport

The inpatient Occupational Therapy team based at Bradgate Mental Health Unit have been 'Stepping Up for Sport'.  Staff from the team set themselves a Virtual Euro Adventure Challenge to 'travel' as many of Europe's capital cities as possible between 20th July and 9th August 2020.

19 Occupational Therapy staff formed the 'Green Team' setting themselves the Olympic challenge of walking, running and cycling as far as they could across the three weeks.

The Green Team raised £627 for the 'Sport at the Bradgate' appeal and the money will be spent on making improvements to the Gym based at the unit to help patients become more physically active.
