Charity funded research to help heart failure patients 

Raising Health is helping tackle a problem that affects millions of people across the world.

LPT heart failure specialist nurse Lizelle Bernhardt is carrying out a PhD into obstructive sleep apnoea, a condition that affects around a third of people with heart failure. However, most of those with the condition do not know they have it, and miss out on effective treatments.
